Once again New Context will be hosting a meeting of the Cyber Threat Intelligence OASIS technical committee during the RSA security conference.

Cybersecurity experts representing the financial sector, healthcare, utilities, software providers, government, academia and nonprofits continue to define/develop the STIX/TAXII specifications as the solid foundation for standardizing threat information.

This large group of public and private sector organizations and companies are working together to advance the STIX/TAXII specifications in the OASIS Cyber Threat Intelligence Technical Committee, https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/cti/. These specs have already dramatically streamlined the analysis of threat data.

***Take a break from the RSA crowds and join us for a complimentary lunch at DG717, http://www.dg717.com/, a 5-minute walk from Moscone Conference Center. ***

We invite cybersecurity experts and decision makers to be part of the conversation. If you have ideas and experiences worth sharing with people who are responsible for setting their organization’s cyber strategy, please register to attend the working luncheon/meet-up at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, 15 February 2017.

What will be discussed:

  1. STIX 2.1 and TAXII 2.1
  2. Future directions of the specs, giving participants an excellent opportunity to help set the direction of future versions of the standards.  We’ve defined STIX/TAXII 2.0 as solid foundations for future growth and this is the fun part – adding new capabilities to the standards that will help address key use-cases.
  3. Open discussion related to threat intelligence sharing, incident response, risk, and audit — share your experiences with STIX and TAXII and learn from others.

Reserve your spot today, space is limited

This informal session will be led by Richard Struse, Chief Advanced Technology Officer, US Department of Homeland Security and Laurent Liscia, OASIS CEO. Other Committee representatives will also be on hand to field your questions and share their experience.

The meet-up is hosted by OASIS Sponsor member New Context.

**This event is open to OASIS members and non-members, please register with your professional email address**
