Project Description
Cybersecurity Research Portfolio – Firmware Indicator Translation

The Firmware Indicator Translation (FIT) project develops techniques to translate indicators of compromise initially developed by IT systems to be used on Operational Technology (OT) networks. This will help secure firmware on embedded systems in use by the energy sector.
New Context’s Contributions
- Designed methods to search over large datasets for indicator patters describing firmware malware
- Designed STIX data model changes to support project outcomes
